In preparation for Day-One CSX- Consolidated Rail Corporation consolidated operations, a new intermodal terminal was required to handle the new volume capacity requirements in Chicago. The Milord Company was contracted to design-build a complete facility on a 150 acre abandoned Pennsylvania Railroad yard site on the south side of Chicago to accommodate twelve (12) trains a day inbound/outbound with various arrive and departure schedules and 600,000 revenue volume lifts annually.
