Project Summary:

In two phases, the Milord Company completed CSX Intermodal’s highest-volume southeast terminal. Phase 1 was performed bid-build while Phase 2 doubling the capacity was performed design-build. On over 260 acres, the work included 2.5 million CY of earthwork, 46,000 LF of drainage pipe, 1,900 LF box culverts, 475,000 tons of stone base, 220,000 tons asphalt paving, 62,000 TF CWR track, 30 turnouts, 10,000 LF sanitary sewer, 9,600 LF water main, 6,600 LF compressed air, 21 high-masts, gates, maintenance facilities, and all appurtenances; providing parking bays for 2,200 trailers parking & 320 chassis, and accommodating 400,000 revenue lifts per year.
