Project Summary:
Construction of 38,500 TF of track, new arrival and storage tracks for Lyondell Chemicals at their Equistar plant in Clinton, Iowa. The work included excavation of unsuitable material, import of 138,000 cubic yards of engineered fill, 40,000 tons of sub-ballast, construction of 6 storage tracks, 7 process tracks, bumpers, access roads, electrical lighting, storm sewer piping, landscaping, and a rail scale for their packing departments. All work was completed under high security and safety action plans for this highly volatile processing facility.
