The project consisted of demolishing two residences on adjacent newly acquired property to allow for construction of a new three story 35,000 square foot Fellowship Hall addition that included a full-size lower level gymnasium, a full commercial kitchen, classrooms and administration offices. The existing basement of the sanctuary was renovated into classrooms and meeting space. A second addition on the opposite side of the existing building provided for a new ADA accessible entry to the church, along with a new gathering space addition. In addition, a new parking lot and drives were installed. Milord was brought in early to assist in value engineering which resulted in reducing the cost to meet the congregation’s budget and delivering the entire project.
