At the Proviso Yard in Chicago, we have completed over two miles of lead and departure track. At the Global I and Global II yards, we completed several paving and site work projects. In Murphysboro, Illinois, we constructed new track bedding for 10,000 track feet of siding, clearing about 18 acres of dense forest. Storm sewer extensions were installed along the entire length of the project and about 15,000 CY of CA-6 sub-ballast was installed.
